The Refugee Women’s Center (RWC) is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Hartford, CT.
We are a 100% volunteer organization.
All of our refugee programs are free.
Every dollar donated goes directly to supporting our programs
and assisting refugee families
The Refugee Women’s Center currently serves over 100 refugee families in the Greater Hartford region. The needs of our clients are greater than ever as critical assistance is being cut at the federal level. Cuts to food programs; pending cuts to health benefits; loss of work authorization, and suspension of green card application processing, have placed their lives at great risk.
Due to this increased demand, we need your help now.
We need to raise $10,000 to continue to support our clients’ growing needs for the coming year. Every contribution, large or small, will go directly to supporting our vulnerable refugee neighbors and help the Refugee Women’s Center remain a safe and supportive resource for women and families in the Greater Hartford region.
