In November 2023, a passionate collective of individuals, deeply engaged in refugee support, launched the Refugee Women’s Center in Hartford, CT. This nonprofit organization is committed to empowering refugee women, guiding them towards self-sufficiency with dignity, resilience, and a sense of community.

Our Vision

For the Refugee Women's Center is to become a beacon of hope and empowerment through the establishment of a comprehensive support system anchored in our four fundamental pillars of service and ensure their successful integration and personal growth within the community

We Offer :

  • English Language support

  • Educational support and mentoring for girls and young women

  • Employment Assistance

  • Job Training in sewing and culinary arts

  • Advocacy support - in the areas of school, health care, public assitance , legal rights

  • Driver Education support
