The Family Readiness Program helps families prepare for emergencies that may affect a parent or caregiver’s ability to care for their children and household. The Refugee Women’s Center provides guidance and support to help families create a personalized plan that protects their children, organizes important documents, and prepares them for unexpected situations.

Families receive assistance with:

• Gathering and organizing important documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and immigration paperwork

• Identifying a trusted caregiver for their children

• Organizing financial and household information

• Safely storing important records and emergency information

A Family Readiness Plan gives families peace of mind by helping them stay prepared, protect their loved ones, and respond confidently during times of uncertainty.
