Our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program offers one-on-one tutoring designed to help learners build confidence in conversational English, as well as develop basic reading and writing skills. Tutoring sessions are available both in person and virtually, providing flexible options for volunteers and learners.

No prior teaching experience is required to volunteer. Our experienced ESL consultant provides training and practical techniques for teaching conversational English and foundational literacy skills. Volunteers also have unlimited opportunities to observe tutoring sessions before beginning with their own learner. Ongoing support is provided throughout the volunteer experience to ensure tutors feel confident and successful in their role.

This program fosters meaningful connections between tutors and learners while promoting language development and community engagement.
